Located in Liberty Township and owned by the City of Columbus, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay is a 588-acre complex that has significant impact on adjacent areas and serves as an economic driver for Delaware County and the central Ohio region. The zoo saw its highest year attendance (2.37 million) in 2010 with 74,000 zoo memberships sold and 23,000 Zoombezi Bay memberships.
